With the new training certificate in support skills for patient services in healthcare establishments, the Government of Quebec wants to make it easier for you to find a rewarding job where every gesture counts. You will obtain this certificate after having received quality training in one of our vocational training centres.

The teaching staff at our vocational training centers bring a wealth of expertise and hands-on experience to their classrooms, labs and workshops that are invaluable and inspiring to our students. Graduates enter hospitals or healthcare facilities, dealerships, government offices, or businesses as qualified, skilled, and competent individuals with the expertise to advance in their chosen career.

* Please note that the Charter of the French Language, or Bill 101, does not apply to our adult education or vocational training programs. These programs are open to everyone, regardless of the mother tongue of the parents.

Western Québec offers professional training in 4 of its establishments.

VScanadian students – Canadian students can register at the center where the program you would like to follow is offered. As this may change each year, depending on availability, please contact one of our centers for more information.

International students – Western Québec invites international career seekers to discover Canada’s national capital region and learn at the Western Québec Career Center, located in Gatineau, just across from Ottawa, or at the Center de formation continue du Pontiac, in a beautiful rural town just 45 minutes from Gatineau.
