As many as 3,000 youths selected from the five Local Government Areas of Ogun West Senatorial District will undergo training in various trades.
The training which is being facilitated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Ogun West, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, will begin before December.
Revealing this during the official inauguration of the state-of-the-art pavilion, at Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, W2W4DA Central Chairman, Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako said that the formation of Empowerment would also make it possible to have equipment and start-up funds for the beneficiaries.
Salako explained that apart from the inauguration of the pavilion, Senator Adeola, also donated 19 power transformers, school furniture to 10 schools selected from the five LGAs in the senatorial district as well as the donation of brand new buses to the Council. from Baale, Christian and Muslim communities, and market women, as part of the senator’s gesture to celebrate his 53rd birthday.
He noted that Adeola, as a person committed to the welfare and development of the Ogun West people, has finalized plans to build a state-of-the-art market, town halls and repair some deplorable roads in the Senate district, especially at Ado-Ota/ Ota Local Government Area.
He described the senator as a brilliant and experienced politician, whose network inside and outside Nigeria is first class and immeasurable.
While praising the cordial relationship between the Senator and Governor Dapo Abiodun, Salako said that “Adeola is passionate about the development of Ogun West, Ogun State and Nigeria.”
He however called on the sons, daughters and people of Ogun West to work for the electoral victories of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the APC gubernatorial candidate in the state. , Dapo Abiodun and his senatorial candidate. , Solomon Adeola, in the 2023 general election.
According to him, “Tinubu, Abiodun and Adeola’s victories in next year’s elections will ensure the continuation of life-changing interventions in education, commerce and socio-economic developments in Ogun West.”
In his address, the Director of the National Productivity Center Abuja, Dr. Kashim Ako, who praised Adeola for facilitating the pavilion, also commended him for his commitment to the welfare of his people and Nigeria.
While revealing that it was the first phase of the pavilion that was inaugurated, Ako urged people to ensure proper maintenance and use of the multi-million naira edifice.
In an interview with reporters, the Olu of Ilaro and supreme ruler of Yewaland, praised the senator for bringing relief to the people of Ogun West, calling on other well-meaning natives of Yewaland to emulate Adeola by contributing their quotas to the development of the senatorial district.
