Program to encourage students to integrate professional courses to be designed soon: Sisodia

A program will be devised in which students and graduates of ITI can interact with students and encourage them to pursue professional courses at these institutes, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Thursday.

The advanced vocational courses of the Institute of Industrial Training help students gain the conviction to achieve their career aspirations and clarify their future goals, he said while interacting with ITI students in Khichripur .

Sisodia said the Delhi government’s ITIs play a “vital role” in the mission of upskilling Indian youth.

The Deputy Chief Minister further said that students graduating from training institutes like ITI will initiate a “new chapter” for “India’s development” with their ability.

“We need to empower children to take vocational courses, and students in our ITIs need to inspire students to take this path of education,” he said.

“It is crucial to encourage students to adopt professional courses in a society where it is believed that if a student does not continue his studies, there is a huge gap in the education of the child”, a- he declared.
