Hanoi (VNA) – A national policy forum for young people will be held on March 30 on the theme of vocational training, the organizers announced during a press briefing on March 28.
The forum is organized jointly by the Commission for Culture, Education, Adolescents and Youth (CCEAY) of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the National Commission for Youth from Vietnam.
Ta Van Ha, deputy director of CCEAY, said that the event aims to improve the awareness of young people and society on vocational training policies. It will be an opportunity for young people to share their aspirations and recommendations in terms of vocational training to meet the demands of the current period.
The information collected during the forum will serve as a reference for CCEAY and other NA agencies to propose vocational training policies for young people to the NA and the government, he said.
It is planned to attract the participation of representatives of government, NA agencies, ministries and central agencies; leaders of provinces and cities managed by the center, youth organizations; young deputies, experts, AN scientists; and representatives of companies, professional training institutions and international organizations.
The key questions that will be presented at the forum include guidelines and Strategiesof the Party and the State on the vocational training of young people, the vocational training of young disabled rural people, young people from ethnic minorities, demobilized soldiers and students. Policies and recommendations on vocational training for young people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fourth industrial revolution and other related issues will be on the agenda./.
