NAM Center for Learning and Vocational Training Announces Fall Class Schedule

HOUSTON, TX – The Northwest Relief Ministries (NAM) Career and Vocational Center has released its fall schedule of adult educational offerings to help neighbors seek out new career opportunities. employment and achieve financial independence.

Certification programs offered include Centralized Sterile Process Technician (CPST), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Phlebotomy, and Forklift/OSHA10 certification. The training center also offers computer training and GED and ESL courses.

Services are provided to people living below the federal poverty level and some scholarships are available based on residential zip codes. A high school diploma or GED is required to enroll in any of the vocational training courses with the exception of forklift training. All scholarship recipients must complete three pre-employment courses prior to admission.
