Hanoi (VNA) – The development of vocational training will be stimulated to meet the various demands of the labor market and the higher requirements for the quality of human resources for national growth in the new period under a new Vocational training development strategy over the period 2021-2030 with a vision for 2045, which has just been validated.
Under this program, in 2025, the scale and structure of the industry is expected to meet the demand for socio-economic recovery and development, with some training facilities meeting the standards of the four major ASEAN countries. It is hoped that the proportion of trained and qualified workers will reach 30% of the workforce in 2025 and 35-40% in 2030.
By 2025, around 40-45% of high school graduates are expected to pursue vocational training. Meanwhile, the proportion of workers acquiring computer skills in the workforce is expected to reach 80%. This figure is expected to reach 90% in 2030.
By 2030, the country will focus on improving the quality and efficiency of vocational training to meet the demand for skilled workers for modern industrial production, while actively engaging in the international human resource training market.
